TuxMat Paid Social

TuxMat · Paid social · Creative testing system

The challenge

Lift paid social performance and scale creative output without guessing what will work.

A Static Ad Matrix built on buyer psychology

I built a Static Ad Matrix that maps consumer psychology directly to the funnel, segmenting hooks by the buyer’s exact conversion stage:

  • Top of funnel: earn the scroll-stop in the first half-second by leading with a distinct worldview.

  • Middle of funnel: build consideration with hard evidence, social proof and direct comparisons.

  • Bottom of funnel: strip away narrative and focus on fit confirmation and the close.

A system the whole team can run

The matrix turns testing into a team discipline: a repeatable production blueprint every designer can work from, with strict rules for typography, layout and tone so rapid testing never dilutes brand equity. Locking formats to their best funnel stage prevents conversion leaks and keeps testing budgets working efficiently.

The results

I ran 14 structured paid creative tests with TuxMat’s Advertising Director. Against the ad sets they replaced, the strongest concept cut cost per order 45%, doubled return on ad spend (0.59x to 1.19x) and lifted click-through 44%. Another lowered cost to reach (CPM) 72%.

The variations below show the framework in action, balancing premium brand aesthetics with direct-response principles.
